The nation’s largest homebuilder continues to expand its presence in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Hamilton, NJ – Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN and LEN.B) has completed the acquisition of Mignatti Companies™, a third-generation builder based in Huntingdon Valley, PA. This acquisition totaled four communities in Southeastern Pennsylvania. This is Lennar’s third acquisition in less than three years for its Lennar PA NJ DE division.

“This recent acquisition has enabled us to grow even further throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties,” said Anthony Mignone, President of Lennar’s Tri-State Division. “It really is a tremendous accomplishment and we are fully committed to building quality homes in outstanding communities throughout the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware region.”

The Mignatti Companies™ acquisition included properties that were located at Berkley Place in Harleysville, PA; Edgewater in Quakertown, PA; Fortuna Crossing in Lansdale, PA, and Waterside in Bensalem, PA.

Berkley Place is an exclusive new twin home neighborhood located on a cul-de-sac in Montgomery County. This community features thoughtfully designed homes on oversized home sites with three- to four-bedroom floor plans.

Edgewater by Lennar, situated right on the water’s edge in Richland Township, features 40 thoughtfully designed townhomes with three- to four-bedroom floorplans and two-car garages in the highly acclaimed Quakertown School District.

A commuter’s delight, Fortuna Crossing is a 59-home community located just steps from the Fortuna train station and minutes from downtown Lansdale. It is also in close proximity to the PA Turnpike, Interstate 476, Route 309 and Route 202.

Waterside by Lennar is a new waterfront townhome community on the banks of the Delaware River. Located a half-mile from SEPTA/Amtrak regional rail, Waterside offers luxurious townhome floorplans, an eight-acre riverfront park and a unique lifestyle opportunity.

“These properties were in various stages of construction during the acquisition process,” continued Mignone. “We ensured that construction continued according to plan, and the process was as seamless as possible for everyone involved.”

Last year, Lennar acquired Kokes Family Homebuilders, a third-generation builder of 55+ communities in the Central New Jersey area. This acquisition totaled 476 home sites in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Prior to that, in December 2015, Lennar ventured into the Pennsylvania and New York homebuilding markets through the acquisition of more than 450 homes and buildable home sites from Orleans Homes. This acquisition included properties that were located within single-family residences and townhouses in Glen Mills, Yardley and Blue Bell, P.A.; Medford, Moorestown and Jackson, N.J.; and Wallkill, N.Y.

Fall has officially hit Nashville and there is a chill in the air! We are excited for cozy sweaters, apple cider, and pumpkin picking. It’s also the perfect time to start those home improvement projects. With the humidity and soaring temperatures behind us, you can tackle that outdoor project while enjoying the crisp autumn temps. Then when you are finished, treat yourself to that pumpkin spice latte.

Not sure which projects on your list will be the biggest bang for your buck? Here’s our recommendations:

1. Front Door Paint

A simple touchup but painting your front door can freshen up the look of your home and make it look the best on the block. Fall is the perfect time of year for this task. Exterior paint dries best when the temperatures are at least 50 degrees but not below 40 degrees. Pick a cool afternoon and freshen up your home in no time.

2. Garage Organization

Hanging out in the garage on a hot summer afternoon is not a treat for anyone. So take advantage of the autumn weather and clean out your garage. You can use the walls and even the space above the garage door to install shelving and get everything off the floor. Wall hooks work great for hanging bikes and other large items. Shelving will give you a place to store the Halloween decorations.

3. Plant a Tree and Prep the Garden

If you are looking forward to colorful flowers in the Spring then plant your bulbs in the Fall. In the south, the best time to plant blooming bulbs is mid-October to early November. The same can be applied to trees. The cooler temperatures and additional moisture allow the tree to take root before the hot summer weather. If you are worried about a cold snap, you can wrap a blanket or a piece of burlap over the tree for protection.

What plans do you have this fall? If purchasing a new home is one, we can help! Come visit a Welcome Home Center today and see all the beautiful new homes in Nashville that are ready when you are!

Stay connected with Lennar Nashville on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to learn about all our upcoming events, communities, and specials!

Fall means back to school, football, pumpkin-spiced lattes and warm colors. Here are five tips for your new Lennar home, from fun DIY projects to simple décor ideas, to give your home that cozy autumnal feel:

  1. White pumpkins are in style. Today’s fashionable homes feature popular new breeds of albino pumpkin. With names like Lumina, Cotton Candy, Full Moon, Polar Bear or miniature Baby Boo, these gourds are perfect for carving, painting or topping with lace doilies. Arrange them in a fall centerpiece or around your lanai.
  2. Reds, yellows, magentas and browns decorate trees—and lawns—for our neighbors to the north, but fall in Florida shouldn’t give you the blues. Add seasonal colors to your home with blankets and throw pillows featuring stripes and plaids. Bed sheets and duvet covers, and kitchen and bath towels with fall hues make your home cozier still.
  3. Fall is the perfect time for arts & crafts projects. Make wreaths of corn husks, cranberries, sprays of sage and shafts of wheat. Create arrangements of fall flowers, such as heavenly bamboo (also called nandina) or the gorgeous Chapman rhododendron, a type of azalea that only occur naturally in Florida.
  4. Rustic-inspired decorations are all the rage. Vintage pails and antique wagons make perfect vases and set pieces for fall crafts that exude an old-fashioned fall feel.
  5. Fall is also about fragrances. Prepare a simmer pot of citrus peels, apple and pear skins, cloves, cinnamon, lavender or nutmeg. Add water from time to time, and enjoy the perfume of Fall.
