This is the first step in creating a luxurious bedroom oasis, and important to achieving that hotel-like retreat. Clear your room of any children’s toys, extra books or décor items that don’t belong, and always put your clothing in the closet or laundry room. Investing in furniture pieces that double as storage is an easy way to keep your space clean and organized – like bedside chests or a storage bench at the foot of the bed.
Perhaps the best part of taking a vacation and staying in a hotel, is experiencing a luxurious night’s sleep. Bedding plays such an important role in this, so choose a high-quality natural fabric, like linen or cotton percale, that is soft and breathable.
