As we head into a new year, we want to take a look back on all the things we’re grateful for at Lennar Philly Metro, from the opportunity to work with local charities (Philabundance, the Food Bank of Delaware, Toys for Tots and St. Mary’s Franciscan Shelter for Homeless Families) to the new communities that we’ve opened. Above all else, 2020 has reinforced how important home is, and we’re happy to say that we have more communities and homes coming to Pennsylvania and Delaware in 2021!

New Home Communities in PA and DE

Over the past year, our team opened two beautiful new communities at Lochiel Farm in Exton, PA and Magnolia Reserve in Spring City, PA. In addition, Land Acquisition placed a total of 12 new communities under contract, totaling 1,592 homesites throughout PA and DE!

Several of these new communities have already closed or are slated to close soon, including Steelpointe in Phoenixville Borough, PA, Reserve at Woodside Creek in Richland Township, PA, and the Meadows at Hillview, an active adult community in Caln Township, PA.

In addition, we have a robust portfolio of properties that are currently in the entitlement process that are preparing to open over the next year, as well as a brand new active adult community, Auburn Square, in Kent County, DE that will be opening late Summer 2021!

“This has been a tremendous year of growth and prolific activity in the marketplace for land,” says Matt Caffrey, our Director of Land Acquisition. “Our team has worked incredibly hard identifying and acquiring some of the best communities in our market. We are very excited about the direction our division is heading and we’re gearing up for even more great things in 2021.”

At Lennar, we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do what we love the most — building communities of unmatched quality and lasting value as we give back to those in need. Through our land acquisition efforts, we’re proud to be able to build homes in the best locations for families all over the greater Philadelphia Metro area. We look forward to what’s in store for 2021!

We’ve waited all year for the announcement of Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2021 – and for next year, we got two! Introducing PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating, two vastly different colors that when combined together, evoke a sense of thoughtfulness but with the promise of sunnier and brighter days ahead.

The reason why this unveiling is highly anticipated throughout the year is because it influences both buying decisions and product development for the following year and many more to come. The Pantone Color of the Year is a trendsetter, not just within the interior design industry but also in fashion, graphic design, industrial design, product packaging and more. We are excited to see where these bold and lively colors will appear throughout different industries.

“The union of an enduring Ultimate Gray with the vibrant yellow Illuminating expresses a message of positivity supported by fortitude. Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, this is a color combination that gives us resilience and hope. We need to feel encouraged and uplifted; this is essential to the human spirit.”

– Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute
