Spring Cleaning

March kicks off spring cleaning

Spring has nearly sprung, ushering in warmer weather and longer days.  Birds are singing, windows are opening, and the smells and sounds are enough to elicit the yearn for change.  With that, comes the tradition of spring cleaning.

It’s a time-honored tradition where people dispose of things that have gone unused or have become unwanted.  Take this opportunity to really get into the spirit of spring cleaning and give your home a fresh look.  Maybe you’d like to upgrade the blinds or ceiling fans.  Perhaps it’s just a matter of simple organization.  Take a look at some design sites or even HGTV for some great design ideas that allow natural light in your home as well as maximizing your space.

Oftentimes, a group of leaders within your community or even your HOA will have further details on events taking place during your spring cleaning initiative.  Many waste disposal companies will often take items that aren’t typically accepted during a short period of time, usually lasting around 3 days.  Alternatively, you can donate unwanted or unused items to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army, if it is still in good working condition.  This gives others a chance to enjoy an item or style that you’ve grown out of.

Whatever rabbit hole (or Easter Bunny hole, maybe??) your Spring cleaning efforts lead you down, use the momentum you get from the refreshing changes it brings you and take it into other aspects of your life.  Jump start your exercise plan.  Make those dietary and lifestyle changes you’ve been putting off since January 1st.  Start working out that monthly budget you’ve been promising yourself you’d stick to.

The best part of all this is, if you’re living in a Lennar home, odds are there are plenty of amenities at your disposal to make these changes for the better; less resolution and more reality.  Take a stroll through your Lennar Jacksonville neighborhood and see just how far you can really go!
