Lennar unveils custom condominiums at 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial

A new, fully furnished custom condominium home showcasing a unique floorplan, high-tech features and expansive outdoor space has been completed at 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial, Lennar’s collection of luxury condominium residences on Weehawken’s Hudson River waterfront.

The custom condominium home represents a floorplan never before offered at the midtown Manhattan-facing building, where immediate occupancy is available. The unique two-bedroom-plus-den layout has been designed with entertaining in mind. Advanced automated features such as a Lutron lighting system, motorized window shades and a built-in Wi-Fi access point enhance the residence’s 1,830 square feet of living space. A 392-square-foot, wrap-around balcony extends the living and entertaining opportunities outdoors.

The home offers a fresh take on the incomparable lifestyle afforded residents at the ultra-luxe, 103-unit residential property.

“We’re delighted to unveil this innovative and stylish addition to our portfolio of residences at 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial,” said Craig Klingensmith, division president of Lennar Northeast. “Though new to the lineup, it reflects our vision for this community since its onset, one that incorporates modern architectural design, superior amenities and services and sophisticated living spaces. The result is a boutique lifestyle experience in a dramatic waterfront setting that is unlike anything else offered in the marketplace.”

Situated in the heart of Port Imperial, a 2-mile stretch of Hudson River waterfront featuring shops, restaurants, parks and a riverfront promenade, 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial is the second building within Lennar’s Avenue Collection following the sell-out of 1000 Avenue at Port Imperial.

Designed by renowned Manhattan-based architect Handel Architects, LLP, the new building features an intimate seven-story design with a sleek glass exterior with brick and metal panel accents, large windows and private balconies/terraces in most homes to maximize views of The Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.

Residents enjoy a variety of hotel-style amenities, including a grand salon lobby, library lounge, media screening room, children’s playroom, and state-of-the-art fitness center with men’s and women’s locker rooms with sauna and steam showers. On the seventh floor, the Skyline Social Room features a lounge space, catering kitchen, bar, multiple gathering areas with a fireplace, sound system and televisions; an internet lounge and more — all set against the spectacular backdrop of the New York City skyline.

Outside, a dramatic third-floor landscaped plaza offers an expansive open-air amenity space that includes a sun shelf swimming pool, a catering bar, garden spaces with multiple seating areas and a fire pit with motorized shade trellis.

“The private amenities serve as an extension to each home,” Klingensmith said. “Whether moving up to more living space or scaling down from no-longer-needed single-family homes, residents have the luxury of entertaining in a multitude of indoor and outdoor spaces that enhance their lifestyle experience.”
