Reno, Nev. – March 2019 – Lennar Reno recently presented a check for $10,000 to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, a regional food distribution center that provides emergency food services to families in need. With a network of more than 140 partner agencies across Northern Nevada and part of California, the non-profit organization serves more than 92,000 people each month, many of whom are children and seniors.
“Giving back to our community is at the core of our company’s values and we’re honored to be able to contribute to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada’s mission,” said Dustin Barker, Division President for Lennar Reno. “As a division, we’ve volunteered at their packing facility organizing food and teamed up to do food drives at our Welcome Home Centers. We believe that when we work with our neighbors, we can make a real difference in our community.”
