Charming town named one of Georgia’s fastest growing communities

As Kimeko McCoy reports in this recent article in the Cherokee Tribune & Ledger-News, Woodstock ranked ninth in the state’s top 10 fastest growing cities, seeing a population increase of 7.6 percent. Woodstock’s population was 27,823 as last reported by the U.S. Census.
“City Manager Jeff Moon […] contributes that growth to Woodstock’s safe community, great schools and amenities. Woodstock’s downtown Main Street is also in the running to be recognized as one of America’s best main streets. Plans to expand the city’s infrastructure are already in the works, according to Moon.”
