Lennar Atlanta’s New Single Family Homes Now Include Tankless Water Heaters

Lennar Atlanta, a division of Lennar, the second-largest homebuilder in the U.S. (NYSE:LEN), now includes a Rinnai tankless gas hot water heater as a standard feature in its new single family homes throughout the metro Atlanta area.

“By adding the Rinnai tankless hot water heater to our long list of included features in new single family homes, Lennar Atlanta continues to deliver tremendous value,” says Chris Recker, Director of Construction Operations with Lennar Atlanta. “A tankless hot water heater provides our customers with hot water to their home in a more efficient way, and saves them substantially on their energy costs in the long run,”

Lennar, a leader in the residential construction market, studies and, if warranted, implements a variety of trends in the housing market. With regard to the transition to tankless hot water heaters, the company has done its research up-front before including this desirable energy efficient feature.

“New homeowners will enjoy less stand-by heating costs thanks to the tankless hot water heater’s real energy efficiency – and with its minor yearly maintenance, the tankless water heater is expected to outlast traditional hot water heaters,” says Recker. “Even though the tankless hot water heaters have a higher up front cost than traditional hot water heaters, the benefits to our customers far outweigh this additional expense.”

Everything’s Included®

Lennar’s Everything’s Included® program is recognized and appreciated by home buyers and new homeowners throughout the USA. Everything’s Included® doesn’t mean “one size fits all”. Each Lennar community across the nation has its own personality and its own comprehensive set of Everything’s Included features, such as some others that may also improve the water efficiency of Lennar’s well-crafted new homes:

* ENERGY STAR® Qualified dishwashers that use less water and add to overall household water savings.

* Low flow faucets that conserve water and help reduce overall internal household water consumption.

* Low flow toilets that meet specific conservation criteria and help reduce water use in the home.

“We are consistently and continuously looking for ways to improve the energy efficiency of our homes while keeping the homebuyer’s pocket book in mind,” according to Recker.
