Buy a Home Before The New School Year

With a standard transaction taking 60 to 90 days to close, you’ll need to be in contract by mid-June.  Which means you’ll want to get serious about house hunting in April and May.

There’s also a financial benefit. With the holiday bills paid, tax refunds in hand and summer vacation in the future, you may have the added funds you’ll need for extra inspections and moving costs.
