Lennar recently debuted two new model homes at their Evans Ranch community in Eagle Mountain. As we manage our way through COVID-19 and the impact it’s having all over, Lennar has a made a strong commitment to the health and safety of our homebuyers, associates and community. Evans Ranch is currently open for tours, but to schedule one home shoppers should contact an Internet Sales Consultant to confirm what hours are available.
“We are excited to introduce prospective home shoppers to these two, beautiful floorplans and are more than happy to schedule one-on-one appointments or virtual tours with homebuyers by request,” said Dave Prolo, Division President of Lennar Utah. “These two new models showcase stunning and spacious floorplans, perfect for growing and busy families.”
From their Estates collection at Evans Ranch, Lennar offers three prospective floorplans that range in size from approximately 2,578 to 3,080 square feet of living space. The two new models showcase the Timberline design, the largest plan which provides five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a three-bay garage, and the Sun Valley plan which features five bedrooms, two and one-half bathrooms and a two-bay garage.
Each new home Lennar builds at Evans Ranch showcases their signature Everything’s Included® program, which allows homebuyers to enjoy popular upgrades and features that most new homebuilders typically charge extra for – at no additional cost. These include stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, integrated home automation and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ designs for whole-home connectivity.
The models are located at the Welcome Home Center at Evans Ranch Drive in Eagle Mountain. To schedule your visit call (801) 960-2751 or visit www.lennar.com/utah to speak with an Internet Sales Consultant today.

Whether you’re in a brand new home or you just want to make your current space feel refreshed, there’s no better way to brighten things up than doing a deep spring cleaning. If you’ve got a new space, there’s always ways to keep your home looking just as new as the day you’ve moved in.
D-I-Y Cleaners
Putting together at-home cleaners is easier than you might think! All you need is some white vinegar, water, and liquid dish soap. Mixing these three ingredients in a spray bottle is a great way to remove any mildew or soap scum from your shower.
For windows and other glass surfaces around the house, swap the dish soap out for rubbing alcohol and throw in a bit of corn starch to your magic mixture to get an effortless, streak-free clean.
Whether you’re cleaning, removing stains, or deodorizing, your spring cleaning doesn’t have to be an expensive escapade. These D-I-Y cleaners are easy to put together, easy to afford, and eco-friendly!
Keep the Kitchen Clean
One of the highest-trafficked areas in your home is undoubtedly the kitchen. Cooking breakfast and dinner, meal-prepping lunch, and searching for snacks are just a few reasons you and your family hang out in the heart of your home. All of this use means countertops can start to look weathered pretty quickly if they aren’t taken care of.
In Lennar homes, granite or quartz countertops protect against most of the wear and tear that comes about from moving pots and pans around while you’re cooking or cleaning. Plus, these hard stone countertops mean you’ll have an easy time keeping your kitchen clean and sanitized. Dish soap and hot water keeps these countertops sanitized for general use, but if you’d like a stronger disinfectant, spray a mixture of equal parts water and rubbing alcohol, let sit for three to five minutes, rinse, and dry.
From whipping up D-I-Y cleaners made from ingredients in your home to keeping your cabinets and countertops clean, there are little things throughout your home that add up to a fresh space. A clean home is an easy way to keep your family healthy and happy! For more ways to stay fresh, be sure to Like Lennar on Facebook.
People all around the world are suddenly finding themselves at home for a while and practicing safe social distancing. Below are some things you can do during an extended period at home that will provide significant financial, professional, and personal benefits without much – if any – additional cost.
Create a dedicated working space inside your home
If you’re working from home right now, it can be helpful to designate an area in your home that is used exclusively for work. By creating a separate work space, it helps to mentally and physically identify a place to work outside of sitting on your sofa or working at your kitchen island. If you’re able to isolate the space by either closing a door or drawing a curtain, this can help you find balance between work and home life.
Get organized
Everyone works a little differently, but whether it’s a list on the fridge, a whiteboard in the office, or a simple task management tool that works on your phone – having a schedule is essential. While working or staying at home, even when you find yourself with extra time it can be especially difficult to get everything accomplished during the day.
Get started by putting every action item in your life into that system – schedule appointments, set bill reminders, add birthdays, etc. As you’re doing this, create a daily habit of looking through your organizational system and start identifying what items you need to get done each day.
Another great habit is to start writing anything down that comes to mind, that you will need to remember or follow up with later. Then, a few times a day, go through your notes and add them to your organizational tool or calendar. By establishing these routines now, you’ll find that this new system might help you stay more organized once you return to an office environment.
Test out some new recipes
Just because you’re eating at home, doesn’t mean that you have to stick to making your usual go-to meals! Since you’ve cut out commute time by staying at home, now is the perfect time to try a new recipe or expand your culinary palette.
Using a recipe as a guide can be very helpful, especially if cooking isn’t your specialty. However, don’t be afraid to make the meal unique to you, by adding in your own twist to the recipe. Snacks are a great way to start cooking, since they’re small and typically simple to make!
Keep your children academically engaged
In addition to staying organized yourself, you should also come up with a daily schedule that you hang up for the kids to see. Just like at school, there should be some sort of schedule to help keep kids on track and to stay away from too much screen time. It’s nice to maintain structure and learning, while keeping everyone on task.
Depending on how long your kids are home from school, it can be fun to add in special spirit days during the week, such as “pirate day” or “up in space day”. This is such a creative and educational activity to do with your kids, so the sky is the limit!
Indulge in self-care
Just because you can’t go to the hair salon or get your nails done, doesn’t mean you can’t handle some of those things on your own! If you’re looking for ideas on how to accomplish great results on your own, YouTube is filled with tutorials. Take advantage of having a little extra time, and the joy of no longer commuting, by practicing a little self-care. Whether you enjoy taking a long bath, putting on a face mask, or listening to music, make sure to take some time to relax.
While you may not be able to go to the gym, now is a fantastic time to try out a new at-home workout routine. Try yoga, or a beginner’s HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) workout, or even simply walking around your home. Staying active is important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so find something that motivates you.
Virtually tour a museum, aquarium, or zoo
Many museums and cultural institutions around the world are inspiring people by offering free virtual tours, exhibits, and performances for people to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes.
Google Arts & Culture has teamed up with over 2000 leading museums and galleries all across the globe to provide virtual tours and online exhibits. This is such a fun and interactive way to view famous artwork, and step inside other worlds – all from your home.
You can even virtually visit local Nashville exhibits through Google Arts & Culture, like the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown, and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage in Hermitage, TN.
Many zoos around the world feature live and archived videos of pandas, polar bears, penguins, elephants, and other animals on their websites. This is such a fun way to teach your children about animals, or explore the animal kingdom from your living room!

In the midst of all this uncertainty, working from home has become a daily reality for many. But, with kids, spouses, and furry friends to provide ample entertainment (and distraction), adjusting to this sudden lifestyle change may be more challenging than expected – even if this isn’t your first work-from-home rodeo. Now more than ever, it is important to create an effective home workspace and incorporate a consistent routine that will advance your goals. We’ve compiled four tips to help boost productivity and keep you motivated.
1.Optimize your home office or workspace
Although the idea of sitting on your bed or couch with a laptop seems like an absolute dream, a designated workspace will benefit you in the long run. Setting up an office or workspace allows you to physically separate work from home. This means you’ll be able to slip in and out of productivity mode when you enter or leave the space – almost like packing up at the end of the day or unwinding during your commute.
So, find a comfortable space with natural lighting, whether it’s in your kitchen or living room, and create a dedicated work nook. For example, Lennar’s Palomino Lake, a charming townhome community in Davie, offers open-concept living areas, including family rooms and great rooms, that serve as excellent workspaces with outdoor views of your private patio. For those who already have a home office or spare room, perhaps, some decluttering is in order. Starting this new chapter with a blank canvas will help you reorganize your space and clear your mind to take on new challenges.
2. Achieve maximum connectivity
During these trying times, you will also need a dependable home network so that you have access to email, video calls, remote servers, software programs, and more. Naturally, when you have an unreliable set-up at home, your productivity slows down, so it is imperative that you speak with your provider to ensure your internet connection suits your technological needs. If you live in one of Lennar’s Broward communities, enhanced connectivity is built into every home with our standard Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ Home Designs – making your work-from-home transition much easier.
3. Maintain regular work hours
When you’re working remotely, balance is essential. Without it, work can spill into lunch breaks and before you know it, it’s 3 ‘o’ clock in the morning, and you still haven’t left your desk. Therefore, sticking to 9-to-5 hours may be your best bet, as it keeps you on schedule and helps you stay in that work mindset. You should also consider establishing boundaries with family and coworkers to minimize interruptions during the day.
Since you’re maintaining regular hours, don’t feel guilty for taking a lunch break. The great part about being at home is, of course, homemade meals! Like all Lennar homes, the new townhomes at The Edge on 20th in Fort Lauderdale boast chef-inspired kitchens, so you can fully savor your lunch time. Equipped with the latest features and stainless steel appliances – part of Lennar’s Everything’s Included® package – you can whip up your favorite dish and get all the energy you need to keep going.

4. Take breaks
The quickest way to stump productivity is by working long hours at a time. That’s why we need to take a few minutes out of our day to disconnect from work and, let’s face it, the news. For residents of Sierra Ranches, a luxurious community of estate homes in Davie, relaxation is never far away. Take a 15-minute walk through park-like landscapes, meditate in your oversized backyard, or play a quick game with loved ones in one of your entertainment rooms.
During these unprecedented circumstances, we hope our four tips can give you some comfort and help you be productive, as you adjust to your new work-from-home routine. If you’re interested in one of our communities, please call us – we’d love to set up a one-on-one appointment in-person or share our virtual homebuying options with you. Stay safe!
