Lennar was featured in an article on The Registry, a website dedicated to Bay Area real estate news, with a video highlighting how The SF Shipyard masterplan has attracted hundreds of new homeowners and has provided much needed new housing during the city’s continuing housing shortage.
“San Francisco’s housing market, traditionally one of the most robust in the country, has suffered from a lack of new construction that is about half of regional goals, according to residential real estate figures. The San Francisco Shipyard, one of the newest for-sale communities, boasts over 500 residents who’ve taken advantage of a window of opportunity for amenities, bay views and work-from-home technology just right for the times.”
Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lennar at The SF Shipyard Garrett Chan says in a video accompanying the story,
“With the difficulty of building, the lack of land and high construction costs, there hasn’t been as much housing as San Francisco’s needed but people continue to seek out homes to fit their needs and lifestyles. We’re fortunate to be offering new 1- 2- and 3-bedroom homes attracting young couples and singles as well as families moving up from smaller homes. Where else can you get a spacious 3-bed in the low $900,000s?”
Lennar offers several new home collections that are now selling at The SF Shipyard, including detached townhomes and one to three-bedroom condominiums. The community also offers on-site amenities such as parks, playgrounds and beautiful bay and downtown views.
