(December 2018) With the Season of Giving upon us, we wanted to turn the spotlight on the Lancaster Children’s Home, a local nonprofit we’ve been proud to partner with over the past 12 months. This effort stems from our Focused Acts of Caring initiative, which allows our division to nurture causes that make the Charlotte-area a better place.
Since 1961, the Children’s Home has delivered a safe, stable, nurturing, homelike environment for abused, abandoned or neglected children within Lancaster County and South Carolina. Additionally, the organization’s mission is to educate and instill positive values and life skills in our children who have been abused, abandoned and neglected so that they become independent, productive and responsible citizens.
Over the past year, our division has been honored to contribute over 75 volunteers (some pictured here) and most recently, a $10,000 check to the Children’s Home last month. We hope you’ll join us in supporting their important work. To learn more, visit www.lancasterchildrenshome.com.
