Florida cup season is amongst us, the largest international soccer event for the state has partnered up with Lennar Orlando for the third year in a row. This international event brings in soccer players, owners, fans and officials to the Orlando area in which they stay at Lennar Orlando’s renowned ChampionsGate community.
The resort style and sports-oriented community provides the players with facilities to have soccer practices, actual games, areas to lounge as well as luxury home accommodations. Florida Cup also broadcasts live interviews on a stage that has Lennar Orlando’s Oasis clubhouse pool as a beautiful backdrop.
The opportunity to partner up with such a large international event will hopefully reach a broad audience and bring awareness of the Lennar brand to many spectators that are keeping up with the Florida Cup games from all over the world. Between eight matches amongst eight of the world’s top soccer clubs, the amount of international viewers is a great opportunity to expand large exposure to potential international buyers.

The Florida Cup matches are highly competitive, and the events are especially great for kids and family groups – our involvement resonates with our current and future Vacation Home customers.”
ChampionsGate shares its love with soccer with Florida Cup by setting up events such as their annual “Footgolf” tournament out on their golf course. Every year, each soccer team competes against each other for a friendly game of “Footgolf.” Imagine soccer and golf combined into one. Soccer players have the opportunity to show off their skills by strategically kicking the ball into an enlarged golf hole. The game is typically only played in 9 holes and takes about 2 hours to complete. At the end, the winner will be presented a trophy and bragging rights for the year.
