If you rent a home, you have to report to a landlord. This can cause delays in having broken items fixed. However, if you own your home, you can sell it at any point. You are also able to get issues fixed on your own without relying on others. Renters often face unpredictable rent increases, so renewing a lease is not always consistent in price. Another perk of homebuying is that mortgage prices stay constant.

There are so many factors to consider when deciding whether you want to buy or rent a home. Buying allows for more freedom in creating the living space you envision while renting gives you less responsibility.
