The New Lennar Tampa Home Journey

If you’re a new Lennar Tampa homeowner, understanding the homebuying process is an easy way to bolster your confidence. Lennar has streamlined their homebuying process to make things simple and easy to understand, giving you the confidence you need to know you’re making the right decision.

Meet the Team

When you begin the Lennar Tampa homebuying journey, you will have six points of contact:

• New Home Consultant (NHC) – Your journey’s guide. The NHC will be with you every step of the way to help you find a one-of-a-kind space you’re proud to call home.
• Eagle Home Mortgage Loan Officer – If you finance your home through Eagle Home Mortgage, this loan officer’s mission is to assist you through the loan process all the way to your closing.¹
• Construction Manager – This will be your point of contact if you have any concerns about workmanship or cleanliness, and who to get in touch with if you want early access to your home.
• Neighborhood Knowologist – As a new homeowner, knowing the community you’re a part of makes all the difference! This individual will be there to fill you in on the amenities offered at your community and ways to make the most of your new home.
• CalAtlantic Title Agent – If you choose to use Lennar’s affiliate CalAtlantic Title, an agent will work alongside the Lennar team to ensure your closing is timely and smooth.²
• Lennar Insurance Agency (LIA) – If you choose to use LIA, an agent will work with you to make sure you’ve got all of the proper insurance policies to close on your new home.³

Step-By-Step

1. Once you’re pre-qualified for a mortgage and finished up the purchase agreement, you’ve set out on your homebuying journey!
2. Shortly after, construction will begin on your new home. Once construction is underway, you can schedule a visit with your construction manager to tour the homesite and see the progress in person.
3. When the home passes an inspection, your New Home Consultant will provide you with a final closing date!
4. Your Lennar Tampa Neighborhood Knowologist will get in contact with you via email or phone to schedule a demonstration and offer a final look at your home!
5. Once your home is finished up, you’ll work with our affiliate companies (if you’ve elected to do so) to make your closing go as smoothly as possible.
6. After this, you’re all done! You’ll receive a satisfaction survey 60 days after your closing, but other than that, all that’s left is to enjoy your life in your new home.
