Winter Village in Curtis Hixon Park offers all the spirit and classic festivities of the season without the brutally cold weather and the unpleasant chores that come with a white Christmas up north. Starting November 16^th, you’ll discover a little winter village along the Tampa River Walk “with the sights, sounds, and activities of the holidays for children and adults of all ages.”

Visitors to the Winter Village can enjoy activities like ice skating at the outdoor rink and the Winter Village Express, a themed streetcar traveling through the city offering treats, music and more for all who climb aboard. You can even do your Christmas and Hannukkah shopping at Winter Village’s curated collection of local boutiques and artisan pop-ups which offer decorative goods, apparel, handmade toys, jewelry, dog accessories, and more! And finally, no festive winter experience is complete without a hot cocoa and grilled cheese at the village’s cafe.

In addition to all the activities offered daily at Winter Village, there are several special events happening throughout the season such as the Tampa Theatre Winter Classics, City of Tampa Tree Lighting, Santa Fest, Winter Wonderland onbikes, and a Lighted Boat Parade. If anything, Tampa’s warm weather offers MORE of an opportunity for spirited play and holiday festivities.
