Moms are there for the good, the bad and everything in between. Mother’s Day 2023 is approaching quickly, and there’s no better way to show one of the most important women in your life just how much she means to you than a few simple acts of love you can do right at home. Here’s five ways to celebrate Mom in your new Lennar home:

1. Breakfast in bed

Take advantage of the ample space and popular upgrades that come with a new kitchen from Lennar. Treat Mom to a first-class breakfast with homemade french toast, her preferred style of eggs and don’t forget the bacon. Use an assortment of fruits to brighten up her morning spread and for an added flare, adventurous chefs can cut pineapple, melon and even strawberries into heart shapes to make her feel extra loved. Assemble her meal on a tray and serve Mom right in bed!

2. Homemade bouquets

An easy but elegant expression of gratitude you can gift Mom with is a bouquet made by you. Fill a woven basket or simple vase with pink and peach-hued carnations, roses of any shade and sprinkle in simple green hydrangeas. If finding flowers proves to be a challenge, make her this easy and fun paper bouquet.

3. Family photo album

Utilize a premade book or bind heavy cardstock with yarn to create a homemade family photo album. Gather photos of all your favorite memories with Mom through the years and use glue and stickers to tell your family story. 4. Plant a garden together

Your new yard is the ideal place to spend some time with Mom on a day meant just for her. Prep your flower beds for gardening and dig in to dress up your landscaping with her favorite springtime flowers or even plant a small garden of vegetables and fruit that you can use to cook a dish together sometime in the future. If outdoor space is limited, use decorative pots and planters to create a small indoor garden of easy-maintenance plants.

5. Tackle Mom’s to-do list

Mom works hard, so take the weight off her shoulders this Mother’s Day and award her with the gift of relaxation. Offer to do her daily chores, like folding the laundry or cleaning the kitchen after a family meal.
