If you are like us here at Lennar, you probably spend most of your week in your office (cubicle/desk/home office). To maximize your productivity at home, it’s important to have a workspace that is not only organized but inspires you day to day. Personalizing and decluttering your space can make working a lot more pleasant and help you stay on top of your tasks. We understand that each person has a different and unique style, so we’ve came up with 5 tips that can help you customize and reorganize your office (aka your second home).

1. Find Inspiration

It is important to have a visual image of what your ideal workspace would look like. Whether you have an idea or are clueless about what you want, Pinterest.com is a great place to start. In Pinterest you can find endless inspiration from bloggers, interior designers, and other users with great taste.

2. Pick a color scheme

Once you have an idea of what you want, the next step is to pick your color scheme. A color scheme will help your workspace to flow and be aesthetically appealing. We recommend picking 4 colors that go well together and are easy to incorporate.

3. It’s Shopping Time!

Now that you know what you are looking for and have committed to your color scheme, you’re ready for the fun step! The amount of décor and organization tools may vary depending on the size of your workspace. Here’s a list of items to consider:
