Energy efficiency licks luxury in new study

Energy efficient homes were out of reach for most homebuyers of the past. But, with modern technology and products, not only is it possible for almost any new homebuyer to reap the benefits of energy savings, it’s a top priority of new home buyers.

A recent study from Shelton Group reported on in Builder, shows supportive data that luxury is not the most important feature in a new home.

Ranking #1 in priority, even over luxury, energy efficient homes are growing in popularity. And lucky for the Triangle, Lennar Raleigh is a Market Leader of energy efficiency.
