This is just perfect for us!’ Homebuyers want to visualize what they can do with the space. We help them connect with the home on an emotional level.”
For the showcase home at Deerfield Green, Cindi created a somewhat eclectic, “urban-suburban” style, amplified by a sophisticated color scheme of fresh yellows, taupe-greys and an unexpected touch of plum. “Of course, when you are mixing pieces and styles, you have to be careful not to go ‘early attic’ – and you have to make sure that the pieces you select are scaled appropriately,” she says.
Cindi has been in the home building Industry for more than 20 years. Her background includes experience as a builder and developer. This gives her knowledge in not only interior design, but also in the construction of the actual home. She is a recognized speaker on interior design trends and model home merchandising.
“The Deerfield Green townhomes have such a great lay-out – and that made this interior design project even more fun! The open kitchen and living area are very welcoming, great for entertaining, and there is an excellent space for a home office. I even think that there will be some new homeowners who will turn the living room into a formal dining room – the floor plan offers lots of possibilities,” according to Cindi.
