Leading national homebuilder offers luxury townhomes at affordable cost

As one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, Lennar understands that when it comes to the real estate market, luxury, affordability, and a prime location in a thriving city coexist.

Located in the heart of Mount Pleasant along the 17 North residential corridor, Lennar’s Royal Palms luxury townhome community is fewer than three miles from Mount Pleasant Towne Center, a 10-minute drive to Isle of Palms and only a 12-minute drive to downtown Charleston. “Mount Pleasant is rapidly expanding, and the Royal Palms community offers home owners a luxury townhome without the sky-high cost of urban living,” said Lennar Coastal Carolinas Division President Jason Byham.

Conveniently situated at the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway 41, just down the street from The Market at Oakland and Charleston’s historic Boone Hall Plantation, Royal Palms’ two and three story plans features either two or three bedrooms and two or two-and-a-half baths. The luxury townhomes come equipped with high-end features such as hardwood floors, granite countertops, HardiePlank® lap siding and a two-car garage.

Lennar offers premium value in all of its communities, including Royal Palms, through its signature Everything’s Included® program. Everything’s Included means high-end features usually only offered as add-ons – such as stainless steel GE® appliances, hardwood floors and granite countertops – come at no additional cost.

“Our Everything’s Included program makes buying a home simple,” Byham said. “We save home buyers thousands or dollars worth of add-ons by including these features in the base price.”

Lennar plans to construct a total of 52 luxury townhomes in Royal Palms. Fourteen are scheduled to be completed in late November and early December, all of which have already been presold.

An additional 12 townhomes are expected to be completed by April 2015, nine of which are under contract. The luxury townhomes range from 2,449 square-feet, with prices starting in the high $200’s.

Don’t expect the remaining townhomes to last long, though, as Lennar has been selling about three homes a month to a variety of home buyers. Indeed, Byham said that rather than fitting just one buyer profile, Royal Palms residents range from medical students to young parents to empty-nesters, all of whom are keen to take advantage of the low-maintenance lifestyle– no lawn or exterior upkeep! – offered by luxury condominiums.

“With the close proximity to popular shops, restaurants and some of Mount Pleasant’s very best schools, Royal Palms appeals to people in all walks of life,” Byham said. “We have families who are taking advantage of the good schools, and we have homeowners who love being so close to the beach. If you’re looking for a luxury home at an affordable price in a prime location, Royal Palms is for you.”
