Lennar, the nation’s only A+ homebuilder according to Builder Magazine, is now proud to include Rinnai tankless water heaters as an included feature in six of its Charlotte-area communities. Tankless water heaters use 40 percent less energy than traditional water heaters. The transition aims to save Lennar homeowners money in monthly utilities and provide an endless supply of hot water while preserving the environment.
Water heating is the second largest expenditure after heating and cooling with the average household spending between $400 and $600 annually. Benefits of Lennar’s tankless water heaters include an endless supply of hot water, lower CO2 emissions and compact design, allowing for more square feet in each home. In addition, the products have a longer lifespan than traditional water heaters and features recyclable parts.
