Chandler, Ariz. (July 18, 2016) — Citing continued growth in home buyer confidence, Lennar has created a new niche community offering two new super-sized home designs on large homesites. The Estates is now open in the builder’s Chandler master planned community of Layton Lakes. “We invested a lot of planning in the design and details of these special homes, and only 17 will be offered for sale in this gated enclave,” said Alan Jones, Lennar’s Arizona president.
Lennar has created a new The Home Within a Home plan called the Hampton. This plan features a 4,130 square foot main home with an 808 square foot The Home Within a Home suite. The main home has a four car garage and a private office or exercise room off of the master bedroom, plus teen room. The Home Within a Home suite, separated by an interior door, features its own private front door entrance and separate garage, plus great room kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and separate laundry. In total, the home has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, built on an approximately 32,000 square foot lot (sizes vary). The Home Within a Home concept has been hugely popular because if offers two homes under one roof, affording privacy yet inclusion. Home owners use the suite for aging parents, a special needs child, guests, boomerang college grads, care takers, man cave, home office and much more.
The second plan created for The Estates is the Belmont, a 4,318 square foot home with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, a huge game room for the kids, plus a shop area. The 5-bay garage has room for a boat or other big toy storage. This home will also be built on a large homesite.
