Fortune has released the latest edition of its annual list of the 100 Fastest-Growing Companies, ranking Lennar at #35 – the highest ranking on the list for a homebuilding company. According to Fortune, the list is compiled of public companies with the most stellar three-year profit, revenue, and stock growth. In selecting Lennar, Fortune highlighted the company’s strong financial performance in 2014: “Industry rebound makes for mighty mighty $1.8 billion in second quarter 2014 revenue (up 28% year over year) for homebuilder.” The list provides a snapshot of the economy’s hottest areas in the recent past, with one quarter of the companies in the oil or natural gas industries.
