Lennar’s Lindera Preserve at Cane Bay community will be home to around 600 families and features an array of floor plans including the Sandpiper, Arbor and Coastal Collection.

Based on figures compiled by John Burns Real Estate Consulting LLC, Cane Bay Plantation, located in Berkeley County, near Lake Moultrie and just a short drive from historic downtown Summerville, has jumped from 49th to 23rd to 10th place nationally in the Top Master Planned Communities surveys over the past three years. Lindera Preserve, currently being built by Lennar, is a major reason for Cane Bay Plantation’s rapid rise to national prominence. Additional benefits to the Lindera Preserve’s community are resort-style amenities including a swimming pool, picnic area, playground, network of walking trails, park, tot-lot and lake.

By the time Lindera Preserve is built out, it will be home to around 600 families, according to Pam Woods, new home consultant for Lennar. She pointed out that Lennar has been in the business of building homes since 1954 and that the company’s “Everything’s Included sm” approach to home buying has ensured its success not only throughout the Charleston area but in 16 other states from Florida to Washington.

So what exactly does “Everything’s Included sm” mean?

“We offer features that most builders charge extra for, from top-of-the-line appliance packages to hardwood floors, tile and double vanity sinks,” Woods explains. “It makes the buying experience a lot easier because we simply include all those features.”

Woods points out that potential homeowners have an array of floor plans from which to choose. For instance, the Sandpiper Collection includes three- and four-bedroom homes, ranging in size from 1,645 to 2,113 square feet, starting at around $180,000. The Arbor Collection, from three to six bedrooms and two to 4.5 bathrooms, starts at around $222,000. Homes are from 1,772 to 3,568 square feet, and two options include three stories. The top-of-the-line Coastal Collection features three- and four-bedroom homes from 2,467 to 3,555 square feet, starting at around $260,000.

Always ahead of the home-building curve, Lennar also is offering The Home Within a Home in Lindera Preserve, a unique solution for homeowners who choose to share their living arrangements with adult children or elderly parents. The Taylor floor plan, part of the Arbor Collection, is a “home within a home sm” including a separate entrance, bedroom, bathroom, a living area and a kitchenette, and the house has a three-car garage.

In addition to Lindera Preserve at Cane Bay Plantation, Lennar has several desirable communities in the Charleston area. Each community has its own character so you’re sure to find the Lennar home that’s right for you. In Mount Pleasant, visit Royal Palms. In Summerville, visit Wentworth Hall. Fairmont South and Moss Grove are two Lennar communities located in Moncks Corner. Ladson is quickly growing and has several great neighborhoods to choose from; Spencer Creek Woods, Hunters Bend, and the beautiful Master Planned community of Coosaw Preserve.
