Random Acts of Kindness Day falls on Feb. 17, and #RandomActofKindnessWeek runs through Feb. 20, coinciding, incidentally, with Jell-O Week and Flirting Week.

The nonprofit Random Acts of Kindness Foundation initiated the holiday to “make kindness an inspirational aspect of people’s lives,” DaysoftheYear.com says.  So today, Lennar offers some ways to spread the love and pay it forward, especially in these most trying times.

In Fort Worth, a woman at a Starbucks paid for the person behind her, setting off a chain of java-generosity that lasted at least an hour, CBS 11 reported. At a Fort Worth McDonald’s, a mystery man handed out $100 bills to random passersby, according to CBS DFW.
