Saturday, April 6th, Kingwood-Royal Brook hosted a Burgers & Brews community event to celebrate the grand opening of its new Recreation Center with clubhouse hosted by Friendswood Development. The event provided complimentary burgers from Montrose’s very own The Burger Joint, delicious craft beer by The Back Pew, a local Kingwood brewery, and a multitude of children’s activities from a bounce house to a bungee trampoline and fun lawn games. Residents and prospective homebuyers were also able to enjoy live country music by Aubrey Lynn and Wes Nickson, both Texas natives. Attendees were able to tour each of the fully—furnished builder model homes, including Village Builders Houston, for a chance to win a $5,000 cash prize, provided by Friendswood Development Company’s Discovery New Home Tour campaign.
