San Francisco, Calif. – September 2016 – Lennar’s newest project in the city the by the bay, The San Francisco Shipyard, has earned recent media attention for offering the lowest-priced new homes in a city that’s being named the most expensive place to live nationwide.
An article published in the SF Gate, stated the sale of a one-bedroom at The San Francisco Shipyard was the lowest priced sale in the entire city for that week.

On September 7, Unit 213 at Lennar’s The San Francisco Shipyard sold for $585,000—the lowest-priced sale in San Francisco for all of that week.
The property is a 744-square-foot newly-built one-bedroom unit, with designer finishes that include Bosch appliances and hardwood floors, according to the selling agent Mairin Haley of Park North Real Estate. Haley believes that today’s buyers are getting a deal and that there will be a time in the not-too-distant future when the neighborhood will have the same buzz as nearby, but significantly pricier areas.
“The Shipyard is really an opportunity to live in a state-of-the-art community for a fraction of what people are paying just a few miles away—for now anyway,” Haley said. “I believe people getting in now will be rewarded, as I see tech shuttles being just around the corner and the Bayview and Hunter’s Point being prime spots for new restaurants and businesses.”
