Lennar Sacramento spring sale event this Earth Day on April 22

Sacramento, Calif. – April 2017 – Every day is Earth Day in a Lennar home! Come celebrate our Earth Day Spring Fest on Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at any of our Lennar communities located throughout the Greater Sacramento Area. We’ll have delicious treats, giveaways and chances to win some fabulous prizes.

“We know that green features are a huge priority among today’s modern homebuyers, which is why we include a variety of them in our Everything’s Included® package for all of our new homes,” said Laura Kilgore, Director of Marketing for Lennar Sacramento. “This is also a great time to learn more about any of our communities, tour gorgeous model homes, learn about our innovative floorplans and energy-efficient features. Plus, the food and fun!”

As part of Lennar’s Everything’s Included® package, every new home comes filled with upscale amenities. Items like stainless steel appliances and granite-slab kitchen countertops elevate a home’s appeal, but many other items come included that make everyday life easier and lower a home’s total energy usage. Little changes everyday add up to big savings for the environment in the long run.

Creating a truly energy-efficient home starts during the construction process. Radiant barrier roof sheathing increases cooling energy-efficiency, which maximizes indoor comfort and allows for minimum air conditioning use. Improved insulation techniques and a tightly sealed duct system also help control indoor airspace by eliminating any spaces or gaps for heat or cool air to escape from, or through.

All new Lennar homes use low VOC paint, which stands for low volatile organic compounds. These paints have a less harmful chemical makeup, which improves air quality both indoors and out. Double paned low emissivity windows, commonly referred to as low-E, have protective coatings to help keep heat in during winter and out during summer. Pair these items with programmable thermostats controlled through home automation by Nexia Home Intelligence, and residents will enjoy the utmost control over their indoor environments year round. Home automation also allows for climate controlled sprinkler management, helping to reduce water used for landscaping.

Solar packages come in all of our new homes and offer a revolutionary way to counter energy usage, by creating it. SunStreet Solar Systems, available in all communities, help cut a home’s overall carbon dioxide emissions nearly in half, according the U.S. Department of Energy.

This fun event is happening at many Lennar Sacramento communities on Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come out to paint a flower pot, receive a free spring plant, enjoy complimentary treats and enter for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
