The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is offering up a summer day camp for kids K-8 that will cover topics from Zookeeping 101 to topics like how animals communicate with each other to how they cohabitate. These camps give kids who are interested in nature and wild animals a way to foster that interest into knowledge and further understanding of the bugs and beasts they see when they visit the zoo. Maybe you have some little groms in your brood. If that’s the case, then Surf Into Summer surf camps may be just what you’re looking for. Surf Into Summer camps focus on things beyond just surfing techniques, like ocean conservation and awareness, good surfing etiquette, and proper equipment selection.
