5 Eggscellent Tips for Hosting an Easter Gathering

Easter is quickly approaching and it’s the perfect excuse to entertain all of your loved ones in your new Lennar home.

Whether you choose to host a brunch, formal dinner or organize a potluck there are a few tips to follow to ensure your guests feel welcomed and enjoy themselves while at your home.

1.Greet Them

Take time to greet each one of your guests as they arrive. It’s important that they immediately feel welcomed and know that you are excited to have them as guests.

2. Arrange a Bar Cart

Offer your guests a refreshing beverage immediately, this will help them feel at ease and start mingling. Set a variety of drinks that your guests can easily help themselves to. Sparkling water, fresh lemonade, and some sweet tea are great options. If you’re hosting a brunch, a mimosa bar is a guaranteed hit!

3. Festive Decor

Get your guests in the Easter Spirit by lightly decorating your home with colorful flowers and festive Easter egg decorations. Pastels are great colors to decorate with, as they represent the softness of the spring season. Here are some Easter decor musts: easter wreath, dining table centerpiece, table settings, and most importantly don’t forget to include easter eggs into your decor in creative ways.

4. Assign seating

Assigning seating ahead of time will save a lot of awkwardness amongst your friends and family. A casual way of letting them know where to sit is by placing personalized name tags in the table settings, It will also make them feel like you planned for them and make them feel even more special.

Arrange a separate table for the kids with festive paper plates and activities that will keep them entertained. This will give you the extra piece of mind of not having to worry about the kids breaking any dishes while enjoying themselves.

5. Plan the Ultimate Egg Hunt

No Easter gathering is complete without an egg hunt. Make this year’s egg hunt one to remember by using your creativity and tailoring to the different age groups. Here are 18 easter egg hunt ideas that will help you think outside the box.

You’ll be surprised how these little things will leave your guest feeling well cared for, and will have you known for your amazing hosting skills.
