Did you hear? Lennar is Builder of the Year!

Lennar is honored to be named Builder of the Year by BUILDER Magazine.

“We work hard to go above and beyond for new homeowners,” said Anthony Mignone, President of Lennar’s Tri-State Division. “If you’re in search for a new home, there’s no one you can trust more than Builder of the Year.”

John McManus, of BUILDER magazine, said in a recent article that Lennar’s strategic and operational team of associates was honored as the 2018 Builder of the Year for so much more than just what they’ve achieved over the past 12 to 18 months, assembling the resources, talent and land as one of America’s biggest builders.

“Lennar’s longstanding ability to find and acquire assets in difficult times and monetize them in good times has been a critical capability,” says Carl E. Reichardt Jr., managing director for equity research, covering home building and building products at investment strategist BTIG. “It’s not just about buying land well, but about building a house well.”

Stuart Miller, executive chairman at Lennar Corporation, has spent the past 21 years as CEO of Lennar before moving into this newly created leadership position in April. A pathway there, includes a step-by-step breakdown of key moments in a customer’s chain of home-buying decisions and explorations – from shopping for a wedding dress, for example, or for baby furniture. It starts with a milestone in a consumer’s life, and progresses from there.

“If we can identify that moment of engagement and start a dialogue that’s based on our educating a customer on what she needs, and grow that into an exchange where we learn more and more about our customer so that we can personalize an offering to her, we’ll soon get to the point where we’ll be able to send them a digital envelope that allows them to look at an Everything’s Included version of their own home, and that eliminates every part of the buying process that’s of no value to them, or a pain point for them.”

This experience, according to the article, excites Miller as he and the Lennar leadership team place today’s operational performance and tomorrow’s innovation imperatives on a priority par, one as equally critical as the other.
